The Fiocruz president, Nísia Trindade Lima, and researchers Lucia Souto, Maria do Socorro de Souza and José Gomes Temporão were appointed, this Wednesday (November 16th), to the Health Technical Group in the transition team of the elected President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. The announcement was made by the vice-president-elect and coordinator of the government transition, Geraldo Alckmin, at the headquarters of the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB) in Brasília, where the transition team works.
The other members announced for the Technical Health Group are Alexandre Padilha, Arthur Chioro, Humberto Costa, Fernando Pigatto, Ludhmila Hajjar, Miguel Srougi, Regina Fátima Feio Barroso and Roberto Kalil Filho.
