The International Mixed Lab (LMI Sentinel) will work to fight vector-borne diseases in Amazon border regions. It is an initiative of the French Research Institute for Development (IRD) together with Fiocruz and University of Brasilia.

This is the third Memorandum of Understanding signed between Fiocruz and Chinese scientific institutions, and represents another step in cooperation between these two developing countries.
