Deaths in the city of Rio de Janeiro have increased by 64% in ths months of April and May 2020, when compared to the average in this same period in the last 3 years. In addition, a detailed analysis of the records shows a disturbing figure: deaths out of hospitals (both in health units, clinics, and other basic healthcare venues and at home) have practically doubled. A publicação interna analisa os dados obtidos no período entre 7 e 20 de junho (semanas epidemiológicas 24 e 25) e indica um decréscimo de casos positivos em relação aos resultados negativos a partir da vigésima semana analisada (10 a 16 de maio). Contabilizando os quase 800 trabalhadores e estudantes da Fiocruz que realizaram o teste para Covid-19 desde 8 de março até 20 de junho, 50,5% tiveram resultado positivo, 46% negativo e 3,5% aguardam os resultados.
